I Send All the Love My Heart Can Hold: A Poem About Losing a Child
I Send All the Love My Heart Can Hold I send all the love my heart can hold, Crescent moon on a love-hinged night, To where earth holds sky, galaxies kiss stars, To space and time lacking the constraints and pain of here now, To infinity and beyond what suspends me here, Caught somewhere between the time and space between us, Grounded in what I can do from here, yet forever reaching to where, ethereal, you reach for me, too. ©Beth Brown, 2023 I Send All the Love My Heart Can Hold
